Facial fungus is usually treated by using an anti-fungal topical medication applied two or three times a day. The fungus usually clears up in two or three weeks.Your doctor needs to know because he may want another kind of treatment for you.

A fungus on a person's face can be treated through an anti-fungal cream applied two to three times per day. The fungus should disappear in about 2-3 weeks. You must keep the area clean and don't put your hands and food around the area.

If you don't know what it's from, see a doctor. It's likely s/he'll just tell you to use an over-the-counter anti-fungal treatment similar to those used for athlete's foot.

Probably like any other fungal infection. Generally with an anti-fungal cream. However, your doctor may decide on a different treatment if the infection is too close to a persons eyes or mouth. He/she may prescribe an oral (pill form),anti-fungal treatment.

Treatment usually consists of a regime of topical ointments and occasionally oral medications. It is advisable however, to consult the dermatologist for appropriate diagnosis prior to treatment.

There are a whole variety of fungal infections of the skin and the proper treatment will depend on the identity of your fungus. In general you need to keep the area clean and dry, and your doctor will prescribe the proper anti-fungal/antibiotic topical cream, shampoo, or pill.

Facial fungus will be treated by a dermatologist and will most likely entail a topical antibiotic cream that will be applied to the face at least once a day.
