Lay in bed comfortably and find the pubic bone which is above line of pubic hair and take a tape and measure the distance between the bone and fundus that is top part of uterus( if you are 20 week uterus will be at the belly button)the mesurment you get will be equal to the number of weeks you are.

When a woman is pregnant, the uterus is measured to determine how much the baby is growing. The uterus will not expand unless you have a viable baby, so its a doctors tool to tell how you are progressing.

Your Uterus grows as your baby grows inside of you. They take these measurements and compare them to the Uterus size of most pregnant people who are as far along as you are. They use them to make sure you're growing enough.
