How hard is it to remover the transmission in a Ford Explorer?

You will need access to a car lift, or a bunch of jack stands as the transmission will actually have to have room to come out of the bottom.

You have to jack it up then remove the driveshaft and then disconnect all wires that are connected to the transmission and unbolt the transmission. Make sure to have a jack under the transmission once you start unbolting it. You may also have to remove a support bar
