How hard is it to learn antique auto engine rebuilding?

It isn't hard to learn, but you will need a basic knowledge of math and a good amount of mechanical ability. Your local vocational school will likely have a course that you can attend to get you started and to help you decide if this is something you would want to devote the amount of time neede to learn.

It can be pretty difficult to get into this type of hobby. Start with some books from your library. You can also check out antique auto shows in your area.

Luckily most engines operate in a similar manner. So if your familiar with modern engines it won't be too much harder to learner about antique ones. There are tons of book available on how to rebuild old engine so check some out.

It's easier to rebuild an antique engine than a modern ones. They are less complex overall in terms of parts and technology. Books can teach you the basics of how to do it but try visiting you local engine shops to find old timer with antique engine experience.
