Question by  Thom (29)

How hard is a sprint transfer of liability?

Do you know people who have done it?

Its a tasking and long winded process. You've gotta fill out a lot of forms, bring several forms of I.D. and in general endure quite a bit of waiting. Probably in the lines of 2 to 3 weeks. If you can avoid it i don't recommend it, as it made me pull my hair out in frustration.

This is commonly called a Transfer of Service, the person who you are transferring to needs to fill out a form provided by sprint and must be approved.

With this matter you'll have to have someone at the sprint store do this for you and not over the phone so you want have to wait for a long time. $100 dollar deposit is needed. You must get approved first.

The best thing to do is have someone at a Sprint store do it, because they'll put you on hold for a long time. A $100 deposit is also needed.
