How does Weird Al feel about Christianity?

Answer by  Iamstrong (659)

Weird Al proclaims to be a Christian. He is a member of the Stone-Campbell Restorationist Group (individuals congregations are known as Church of Christ or church of Christ). Weird Al joins other notable Christian celebrities such as Pat Boone, Roy Orison, and Brandy in worship. Some were born into the religion, however, it is not clear if he converted.

Weird Al Yankovic is of Jewish decent, but not practising (his parents were devoted to the Jewish faith). He doesn't believe in Christianity, and is more atheist than pretty much anything else.

He probably thinks that in a few hundred years there will be few Christianity adepts left, so he's not interested in a religion that will go extinct.

I feel that Weird Al is a Christian. But he is not 100% true about this. I think he's just like any other regular joe bloe who is Christian by birth.

Weird Al has said in interviews that he is Christian. His mother is Italian, and his father is Serbian, so it likely he was raised either Catholic, or Serbian Orthodox.

Weird Al is a Christian himself, in fact a couple from his church appeared on the cover of Poodle Hat.

This is some what of a difficult question. Although "Al" makes many references to Jews in his songs there is no reliable proof that he is jewish. It has been rumored that he is a member of a church of christ in Hollywood.

I have a friend that saw him at the Church of Christ in Hollywood serving as a lay minister. Pretty sure this puts him in the "devout" category.
