According to an Internet search vintage Schiaparelli Shocking is very aromatic, from an initial flowery fragrance to a more earthy aroma. The redesigned Schiaparelli Shocking is more mild, like a floral or herbal tea with a hint of patchouli.

i think it smells more like a flower has like a flowery smell. but i dont think the scent is that strong to smell like a musk. Because musk is more strong.
