Medicaid works differently under each state that offers it. However, in most cases, Medicaid is for those who are poor, and out of work, and have health issues. Also, mothers and babies that qualify based on a lack of income can get Medicaid.

Medicaid is an insurance program for people who cant pay insurance. How medicaid works is they take your taxes and give them to people who cannot afford or do not have access to health care. Medicaid is also a form of socialized medicine.

Medicaid is a broad based program that helps at many different levals from the unborn to the vary old! The probelm with Medicaid is that each state has a certain amount of leeway with Medicaid and the federal goverment has different standards for different states! It needs to be equal!
