Run the internet connection sharing wizard. Share the PPP adapter dial up connection to the local area connection. After that, run "ipconfig /all".

Linksys does not have any role if you are using Dial up internet. Dial up internet utilizes your 56k modem while linksys uses a much different modem. Linksys is attached from your router to your separate physical modem.

More often than not, linksys is used to broadcast cable internet... Linksys is simply the wireless system though, it only broadcasts signal, it works the same, which is good.

If you mean with a dial-up connection, then you will need to share the connection from the computer that has it, out to the router. This will also require two network cards. You can find the Internet Connection Sharing options, by searching Windows Help (click Start > Help and Suppport).

Accessing a dialup account wirelessly can be setup using a dialup sharing device and a wireless router. Connecting multiple computers may make it too slow to use though.

There are various software available for Linksys. According to software you have you will make dial up corresponding to that. No extra hardware needed.

Linksys routers, by default, are all designed to be connected to a broadband which, most of the times are either cable or DSL. The packets are designed to have a large amount of data stored inside them. These packets be routed to a large number of paths through the network

I've never seen it happen. You can have dialup go through 1 computer, to the linksys router, then have other computers segway into the internet through the one computer.... that's about it.

Linksys is a brand that makes many different types of hardware, depending on what hardware you have, it may work with dial-up. If not you may need extra hardware to make your linksys hardware work with for you.

You cannot use a Linksys router with a dial-up connection. Dial-up connections can only be initiated on one computer, and are too slow to share anyway.
