You have a mix of two very good breeds here. Both are very intelligent.Your dog's behavior really depends on you, and how you raise and train this dog. You have a good start, both breeds train well. They tend to be protective, are loving, excellently trainable, and adaptable. Like all small breeds, you have to set that YOU are boss.

The Pekepoo is a designer dog that has grown very popular over the years for being funny, smart, and loyal lapdogs. Like most smaller dogs they can be very affectionate, but also very protective of their "people". They can be somewhat timid and shy around strangers, but are good pets with children and other animals.

A Pekingnese=Poodle mix is also called a Pekepoo. They are considered to be very affectionate and friendly dogs, though they may be timid around strangers. They can sometimes be protective of their owners but they also tend to be good with kids and other pets. Pekepoos are also highly intelligent.

Mixed breed dogs may show a combination of traits, but most often they'll show more characteristics of one breed in the mix than any other. Your best pet to to research the temperament of Pekingese and Poodles and know that you can get any combination of those traits in Rover.
