How does a non-profit organization keep "unknown caller" from showing up on someone's caller i.d?

Some phones have the ability to hide your number. By enabling this you will not send caller i.d. information and it will show up as either "unknown" or "private" caller. Some phone or companies allow you to block these kinds of calls so they can't keep calling you.

it all depends on the phone system of that area and if number is unlisted or not, that is calling. call your phone company and have number made as a public listing or you can have phones numbers to be identified as call out numers only where they don't accept incoming calls.
