How does a jet engine work?

Answer by  Lordschild (1398)

Fan blades take in air that is then put through a series of blades that raises the air's pressure. The high pressure air is then injected with fuel that is ignited electrically and the burning gases then turn a turbine creating thrust. All those blades turn on a shaft.
