How does a cat behave after giving birth?

I don't know how to tell if my cat is doing okay.

After birth the mother cat eats the afterbirth, placenta and takes full rest cuddling with her kittens for hours.The mother cares so well,feed her kittens and wean around three months

A cat is usually very still. She will lounge around resting from her ordeal of giving birth and as the kittens feed from her. She should be this way for about a week or so before moving. The kittens will still feed from her for a while after that point.
