After a skin scraping and diagnosis, your Veterinarian can provide injectable Ivermectin or Dectomax well as topical ointments to kill the mite. The procedure may have to be repeated.

Sarcoptic mange is very insidious and persistent, and can lead to many other problems. You need a vet to treat this, as a shots are the most efficacious treatment with followup. This is caused by a mite that is very hard to eradicate on your own, and untreated can seriously and dangerously affect your little pig's health.
