Try giving him supplements of Omega-3 fatty acids, tocopherols, vitamin C, and beta-carotene. Also try and keep him playing and active.

Canine cognitive diorder is a disease in animals that involves a progressive loss in thinking capabilities much dementia in humans. The dog with age will progressively get worse. There is a prescription-only drug available to help delay or slow down the symptoms which involves the stimulation of dopamine in the brain to reduce the effects of the symptoms.

Take your dog to the vet so he or she can give your dog drug trials or medical treatments. Put gates and protection so your dog doesn't try to injure itself. Give your dog the prescribed medicine given by the doctor as it is prescribed and dont confine him
