It is thought that smaller dogs can be more difficult to train than larger dogs. That said, it is possible. It will require a lot of positive reinforcement (treats, praise) and patience. Only work with your dog for a short period each day but you must work every day!

Training for behavior and manners is basically the same for any dog breed. You could enroll in a basic training class locally, or you could get a good training book or DVD and teach yourself to do it.

Cockapoo's are very intelligent and easy to train. Begin as soon as your bring your dog home. Enrolling your dog in an obedience class usually has great success.
