How do you take the battery out of a Saturn car?

First step: disconnect the battery's ground cable. This will be the one with the slightly smaller head, NOT the one that goes to the starter. Then remove the clamp which holds the battery in place. Then disconnect the positive (starter side) cable. Carefully lift out the battery.

Remove black box that is attached to bracket that has to be removed to get the battery out. Use a half inch wrench to loosen the bracket that is against the lip of the battery, slide battery back and remove cables, lift battery out

Reach behind the headlight on the driver's side,Take off the cable ends from the battery terminals with battery terminal puller. Remove negative cable first,Lift the battery out of the compartment.

Not knowing what year or model car you have I can tell you exactly how. Most cars you just take the cables off and unbolt the bracket and remove it.
