Electric scallops are filter feeders and difficult creatures to keep. They last longer in the wild than in captivity. I have never had one, but provide it with moderate flow and target feedings of live plankton like DT's. You can also look at BioPlankton or CoralPlankton by Liquid Life. Brine shrimp does not cut it.

Electric scallops are difficult to maintain and you have to make sure to keep them away from blennies, shrimp, angelfish, clown gobies, and butterfly fish. The pH of the water has to be carefully monitored and any slight amount of nitrate or copper can prove lethal for this type of scallop.
