ive always heard that you can straighten by putting a new perm solution in and comb in straight instead of putting in the perm rods.

For permanent straightening you can buy curl straightener or relaxer kits at the drugstore. However, they are hard on the hair, especially after perming. You may end up with frizz.

If you wash your hair enough times, the chemicals will come out naturally. Perms are not made to last for all that long. Putting extra chemicals into your hair to relax the perm is a bad idea and will probably damage your hair. The best thing you can do is wait it out.

If it is within the first day or two you can simply wash it with strong shampoo a few times and that will relax the curl quite a bit. DO NOT put any more chemicals on it unless it is by a trained professional. Your hair could FALL OUT, with the wrong chemical that reacts with previous chemical for perm!!!
