Animals can slip in training, but all you need to do is catch your cat in the act and bring the cat to the litter box to enforce that is where the cat goes. Make sure that your cat fits in the box comfortably and isn't in high traffic area.

There are non toxic ecofriendly sprays that you can use wherever she urinates in the house. You also have to spy on her and don't let this become a habbit.

Sometimes a cat will pee on the floor if her litter box isn't clean enough for her. A kidney infection can also make a cat go elsewhere besides her litter box. If your cat is old, she may just be forgetting. You should also never use a cleanser in the litter box because some cats will stop using the box.

Either she is upset with the litter box - is it clean? is there another cat using it? is she made at you (are you gone all day or something wrong)? did you bring another pet in the house? You have to figure out what's wrong. If she doesn't stop you have to to keep her confined with the box.

Try to change cat litter brand or change the whole cat litter box, there may be something she is avoiding in that area.
