How do you stop a cat from chewing on things?

He may always chew on plants you have to put a used lemon rind in the plant or pepper spray (like for deer) for plants. He sounds like he is kitten and still teething if he is chewing on cords and things.

To stop a cat from chewing on things it is better to grow some cat grass for it to chew. Spraying the things with distasteful spray to the cat.
