The word occasion is spelled with two c's and one s. Man people get confused and think there should be one c and two s'.

People remember it's got a double letter in there somewhere; they're just not sure if it's S or C or both. The A is long, which means there's only one S, and it's not the S sounds like HISS, but "zhuhn," which is the result of one S
