Most plugs come pre-gapped, you just have to check them with a feeler gauge. If they're out of spec, bend the electrode into spec.

First thing, measure the gap feeler gauge or the gapping tool. Then simply adjust it until it is at recommend width. Be careful not to damage the plug.

You need a $2 gap tool and need to know what gap your car needs. Check the gap with a spacer then bend the electrode as needed.

Best practice is to use a gapping tool, cheaply purchased at any parts store. They should also be able to tell you the gap value for your vehicle.

You need a gapping tool. It is a feeler gauge and a tab to push ad pull the top electrode. Once you know what the gap should be you need to check the gap on the new plug with the gauge. Then you move it to the correct gap. Be very carefully and don't pry against the center electrode.
