Unfortunately, your text may be gone forever. Cell phones do save sent messages, so your first option is to call the original sender and ask them to resend. You could also call your carriers customer service line and see if they can retrieve, but they probably won't do that.

There is no way to retrieve a deleted text message straight from your phone. I recommend asking the phone company about your concern so maybe they can locate the text, if it is evidence or for court purposes or something serious along those lines.
