How do you reset the Volvo v70 2004 maintenance alert?

look in the owners manual to see if any instructions are there. also consult with a mechanic and have him check the computer. sometimes it has to be reset with a scanner.

The best solution would be to contact your local Volvo Dealer and ask him to reset the onboard unit... normally it should be enough to gave him a little tip for these...

The alert is saying that to maintain its operating efficency at this level requires certain functions must be addressed, such as oil change or tune up. Simply resetting the alert could lead to more serious problems in the future, which most often means more extensive and costly repairs.
