If it is an inline six, disconnect motor mounts and lift the engine. Remove oil pan mounting bolts and drop pan, reach in and unbolt the pump. Reverse to install.

The oil pump is located on the driver's side, below the engine. You have to raise the engine and drop the pan to properly change the oil pump.

Well typically all you have to do to get to the pump is drop the oil pan being careful not to damage the gasket. The you just unbolt the old pump and bolt up the new one. Then just put the pan back on.
