Remove all the bolts from the pan. Gently pry off the pan and scrape the old gasket from engine and pan. Apply new gasket and bolt back in place.

Support the engine in some manner (holding it up using the install hooks or support it at the bellhousing) and then remove the motor mounts. Then, you can lift or jack up the engine to allow more room to access the oil pan. Remove the oil pan bolts, drop the oil pan, replace gasket and reassemble.

The basic process involves removing the oil pan, removing the old gasket, cleaning the surfaces, and installing the new one. It may be more complicated depending on the car.
