How do you replace the flasher in a 1997 Ford Ranger?

Find the flasher. It's probably in the fuse box. It's in a plug, so you just unplug the old one and plug the new one in. Easy, huh?

Disconnect your negative cable from your battery. The flasher is under the right of the steering column. Pull the flashers out and install new flashers. You'll have to make sure flashers are intact into place. Lastly, put your negative cable is back on the battery and then turn your flashers on to see if they are working properly.
