How do you replace a screwless deadbolt?

Old deadbolt must be removed to access support bracket. Slide old deadbolt from bracket. Determine what could have caused damage to the deadbolt and or bracket. Remove the mounting bracket. Save screws to use on new bracket. Make sure if parts are the same as originals. Install the parts in the reverse order that you disassembled. Check for smooth operation

remove the head using a chisel then the bolt will fall out. replace using a new bolt of any sort that will fit into the existing whole, add a washer and a nut.
