You often should consult a contractor or plumber. You must shut off the water source first. Remove all water lines. Then, remove the screws or fasteners that hold the sink to the base. Then, carefully remove the pipe connections and lift sink off of base.

In order to replace a bathroom sink you have to buy a new one first. Once, you have the new one, disconnect the old one and remove from near the wall. Put the new one in place and turn the water back on after everything is connected.

The first thing yo do is turn off the water supply there should a valve by the pipes under the sink. Next you most likely will need a wrench and unscrew the pipes that connects the sink. After that you should be able to lift the sink off the pipes and install the new sink.
