How do you remove the fan clutch on a Chevy Astro?

You will have to remove the fan iteslf. You need to remove the nut that holds the fan blade and clutch on. Remove the fan blade first, then you will be able to get at the fan clutch. It should just slide off of the shaft once you get the blade out of the way.

Remove any belts attached to the fan pulley. Remove the fan shroud. Remove the bolts that attach fan. Remove bolts securing the fan clutch.
