How do you remove emblems from a car?

This has to be done in a careful and slow manner. Depending upon the length that the emblem has been on the car will determine the method of removal needed to accomplish such. Application of heat, and the proper amount of said heat (and the accompanying appropriate tools) is a possibility. Razor blades at auto parts stores can work too.

If they are plastic (not decals) you can use a heat gun and dental floss. If they are decals, use a heatgun and a non ridgid plastic putty knife. Heat the emblem and take the dental floss behind it almost sawing it back and forth while pulling it through.
