How do you remove a scratch from your glasses?

I don't want to buy a new pair because of a little scratch.

I have know people with a small and I mean very small scratch in their glasses to place some Vaseline on the lense and wipe the access away.

As far as I know there is no way to do that. Your eye doctor may be able to help you. Sometimes they will let you just order a new lens. If you rub to hard it may become more that just a scratch. It could get a lot bigger.

First, clean your lenses with mild detergent. Use micro-abrasives to rub out the scratch, starting with 4,000 grit abrasive, progressing to 5,000, 6,000 and on up until scratch has been removed. Micro-abrasives are available at craft/hobby, wood and jewelry stores. Search the web for Micro-abrasives for stores in your area.
