How do you remove a bottom pulley from a Briggs and Stratton engine?

Remove the flywheel cover on top of the engine. turn the engine until it's on the compression stroke. Hold the flywheel to prevent the engine from turning. Now remove the bolt on the bottom of the pulley. The pulley should then slide off the shaft.

Socket wrench the bolt holding it on, slip off the pulley wheel, then remove the pulley itself. Quick and easy.
