How do you refinish a sink?

Depending on the materiel most hardware stores now offer cheap laminate that you can put in and around the sink with nothing more than caulk.

To do this it is best to use an acrylic polymer,coat the entire area after cleaning the surface,the polymer is strong and it gives it a durable finish, it comes in various colors,and is easily applied,just like regular painting.

Purchase a refinishing polish solution. Then apply the solution all over the sink, especially the areas with heavy wear and tear. Polish the entire sink with the solution. Afterward, let the sink dry.

If it's an enamel sink, you can make sure it's clean and paint it with an enamel coating made for that purpose. If it's a steel sink, best bet would be cleaning it with steel wool and steel polish. If it's a fiberglass sink, use body plastic for cars and then prime, then paint.

It would depend on what kind of sink you are refinishing if it is stainless steel you can scrub it and that will bring it back if it is fiberglass contact the manufacturer for porcelain try porcelain paint.

To refinish a sink you have to scrub the sink using mild dish soap, remove rust stains, rinse the sink, use acetone to clean and last finish the sink by spraying coats.
