How do you re-glue the liner of a roof in a car?

You need to take the head liner out. then scrape all the old foam and glue off and replace with new liner using high quality spray glue.

Well first thing you need to do is remove the headliner if possible. This will make the job a whole lot easier. If the foam is bad go and by some new foam and cut it to size. The pick up a can of interior spray adhesive. Then glue the foam followed by the cloth.

There is a spray adhesive designed specifically for that purpose. Check with your local auto parts store, just about any will carry it. If one doesn't have it they should be able to point you in the right direction.
