Successful raising of Bantam chickens requires enough land for a coop and an area outside the coop for digging, pecking, exercise, ect. This will all need to be inclosed with a chicken wire fence in order to keep chickens in and predators out. Fresh water and feed are needed daily.

First buy them, of course. Then put them in a dry environment with wire on the top and sides so that they can get used to their new home, next make sure that they have clean water and food away from their roost. Give them a tray of hardwood ash and clean it regularly to prevent parisites. Good Luck!

They need a warmer pen because they are prone to frost bite. Clean water must be present everyday. The feed is standard, cracked corn and a starch grain mix.
