You should be able to do this very easily, simply highlight the list items that you wish to sort and right click them. From here, a menu will pop up that gives you a "Sort" option. Try that.

To sort a list alphabetically in Microsoft Word you should first highlight the text you want to sort. Second, in the command toolbar, select "Table" and then "Sort. " Sort by text in ascending order if you want your list in alphabetical order. Use this same method if you need to sort by date or number in the future.

Under the drop down menu there's option for lists. There you can choose between numbered list, alphabetic list, etc. When you click alphabetic list, your list should be sorted in ABC order.

There is usually a small button located in the toolbar at the top which has the letters A & Z shown on it along with an arrow pointing down. Highlight your list and press this button.

You create a new bullet button. There should be a tab along the top that says bullets. Click on it and there is an option to do ABC order. There are many ways you can do it that are already set up or you can change it up and create your own.
