Find a quiet, private, and romantic spot. Evening, around sunset is a good time. Drop down on one knee and pull the ring box out of your pocket and say "honey, will you marry me?" This has worked for untold thousands. It's scary as all get out, just do it quick and get it over with.

You should know your girlfriend best, so you would know if she's more of a traditional type or more contemporary, which might help determine how best to propose. Whatever the case, the proposal should be unique in terms of both location and how you do it to make it memorable.

I will select a holiday night and we go out for dinner in a famous restaurant with romantic songs,then we have a walk along famous street and I suddenly whisper I will marry her, soon I take out my fancy ring and surprise her.I think she will be moved.
