There is no proper way really. Women proposing to Men is quite new. Proposing has always been something that is special to the couple. So propose to your Man in a way that is special to him.

I do not think there is. I would assume that you would just take him somewhere nice, maybe to his favorite spot and ask him to marry you.

It is not proper etiquette for the woman to propose to the man. However, there are ways to get him to purpose to you. Be what you think would be a good wife to him so he knows what it would be like if you were his wife. That is how.
