There are several methods of propagation, easiest is to divide a clump, or you could sow some of the seeds, keeping them warm during germination which takes between 2 weeks and 2 months to take place. Another method is to make leaf rootings, by putting leaves in water until roots form before potting up in good soil

Rhoeo spathacea can be divided in either the spring or the fall. You can also grow the seeds, which are produced in the "cradle" shaped bracts. The seeds will germinate in two weeks to two months. Keep them between 65 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Also known as Oyster Plant, it propagates easily- you can gather seeds, but easiest is to separate clumps and plant in good rooting soil, or you can place a leaf in water and let it root, then place in good potting soil. Be careful if you have dogs, this can be toxic to them and cause rashes.

It can be propagated from dividing the root ball or from planting seeds. The quickest way is to divide the roots.

Rhoeo spath is easily propogated in a basket. All you have to do is separate the clumps and re-plant in good potting soil.

Water in intervals and place them close to the sunlight. Do not over water the plants or they will not propogate and make sure they get plenty of sunlight. Try to place them on the sundeck for timely exposure.

You can propagate rhoeo spath in several different ways. You can propagate through seed by collecting seeds from the seed pod after the flowers are fading and the pods are drying out. Plant seeds immediately after collecting. You can also propagate by taking a leaf cutting and planting the cutting in potting soil.
