You will have to find the program code for your television. You can do this through a internet search of universal control codes. When you find the code that matches up to your television you hit the star button then the code. It is a good idea once you find your code you write it down somewhere safe.

You really need to have the instruction manual to do this. The manual has all the programming codes for your TV/DVD/VCR. If you don't have this, or if you've misplaced it, then go to manufacturer's website. You can download the manual from there.

When looking for replacement parts the first thing you should always do it contact the company. Since it is a remote you might be able to buy a universal one.
