My first reaction would be to separate the two birds if they are fighting. If that is not an option for you then I would try to redirect that energy with new toys and change those toys out regularly.

You can prevent them from fighting if you put them apart and separate it. It's not good to keep them together.

The only way to keep cockatiels from fighting is to separate them. Like people, there are some cockatiels that simply don't like each other. When that is the case, they probably won't reconcile.

Even birds who have been cage mates for a long time can suddenly start fighting. Sometimes it is enough to remove one of the birds and calm it down, then replace it in the cage. However, if they keep fighting, you need to try separating them or at least put them in a bigger cage.

You can easily prevent Cockatiel's from fighting if you pair them up with one female and one male. The ideal situation would be to get them together as young as possible.
