The best way to pick up girls is to go try to talk to them. See if they seem interested in you. Try to make them laugh, girls love to laugh. Offer to buy them an ice cream or cookie from the food court.

Sit down at the food court and people watch for awhile and then once you find one you find appealing go up to her and compliment her on something.

Unfortunately most girls don't like people trying to "pick them up." Not every girl is into that, so please be careful. It might be more worthwhile to try to meet women in organizations, clubs, at work, etc, rather than going to a public place and flirting with complete strangers. That can give women a serious "creeper" vibe.
