How do you make marzipan?

Mix: half a cup of milk, 1 small box of jello, 1 teaspoon of flavoring, 7 ounces of angelflake coconut, and a few drops of food coloring. Mix ingredients together and shape. Roll and decorate as you choose.

Marzipan is made with granulated sugar, cream of tartar, ground almonds, egg whites, and dusted with a powder sugar. All these ingredients are combined to make the icky candy that you can find all over Europe. I do not find it tasty at all.
