If you have a good printer, good paper and good ink, you can print cards that look professional. There are lots of card templates for sale on the web that you type people's names into to personalize the cards; when done, you print them and they look purchased and professional.

You can use your printer to make the design for the card and instead of using regular printing paper use a thicker paper like card stock. Make sure the print is to the left side of the paper and fold in half to make the card shape.
