How do you make cookies?

Mix flour, baking power or soda and salt in one bowl. In another bowl mix brown or white sugar, vanilla, shortening or butter and egg. Combine. Add nuts, chocolate chips etc. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 350-375 10-12 minutes until light to medium brown.

My favorite two kinds of cookies to bake are the pre-made ones you simply put in the oven such as oatmeal raisin but during the holidays I always make craisin cookies, very simple recipe straight off the back of the craisin package includes brown sugar, oatmeal, eggs, white chocolate chips, craisins, flour and not much else...very tasty!

If you are making them from scratch, find a good recipe and follow the instructions. You can also buy cookie dough in the dairy department and make choc.chip, sugar cookies.

It depends on what kind of cookie you want. Most stores carry pre-made cookie dough that you just need to scoop out & place on a cookie tray to heat.
