The simplest slingshot consists of a forked stick and a large rubber band. The trickiest part is connecting the ends of the band to the stick.

You will nee a y-shaped piece of wood or metal. You could bend a hanger to the shape that you want to use. Then you will need a pair of short elastic bands and some sort of pouch. A small piece of fabric or leather will do. Tie elastic to each end of the Y and pouch in the middle.
