How do you make a cake shaped like a truck?

The easiest way would be to find a pan with the shape of a truck, which you might find at a craft or specialty baking store. Or, you could bake a couple of 9"x13" cakes, and cut the to the shape of a truck. Then you could use the frosting to hold it together.

Bake a sheet cake, when it is cool scratch out the shape of a truck on the surface with a toothpick or knife, use the dougnuts as a template for the wheel wells. Cut out what you have drawn and disgard (or eat) the excess. Frost the cake as desired.

You will just need to cook a rectangular cake and then add icing and other topings to make it seem like a truck. You can make headlights, a roof rack, and any other pieces you can easily assembly for a cake truck. this can be an easy and fun project for you and your children

I would bake a rectangular cake. After it cools I would cut the cake. I would cut a smaller rectangle for the base of the truck. I would cut a square to set on top for the cab of the truck. Place it a bit back from the front so you have a hood. Use donuts for wheels. Ice creatively.
