How do you know if a Tiffany's vintage necklace is real?

All items sold by Tiffany's will have the hallmark "Tiffany & Co". Besides that, it will have to be appraised.

Most branded jewellery should hold a hallmark and brand imprint, so have a look for one of these. To be completely certain I would advise taking the necklace to a expert, a vintage shop or antique dealer, someone who knows about vintage jewellery should be able to tell you quickly and many will do it for free.

Take it to mayors or a Tiffany store they will tell you if its real. They can appraise it for you for a small charge.
